STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO, November 9, 2021 – Routt County Public health officials gave their monthly update to the Commissioners stressing the need for a local public health advisory because of the COVID-19 surge and lack of hospital beds in the Front Range region. The officials also reported that South Routt continues to be the region in the County with the lowest vaccination rates and highest rates of infection. Kids between the ages of 5 and 11 started receiving vaccinations this week and several children’s clinics are scheduled for this coming weekend. Boosters are also recommended to anyone over 18 years of age….

On November 8th, Colorado’s daily case rate (58 per 100,000) was the 5th highest in the country and one of the fastest growing.
